accessed via Skardu in Ladakh. Shigar River is the main stream that originates
from this glacier that makes as a tributary of the Indus River. The glacier is
also fed by various small valley glaciers at various points.
Hispar Glacier
The glacier
is situated in Baltistan, Ladakh. The Hispar glacier is a large glacier that
feeds the main stream of River Shigar, which in turn goes into the Indus River.
The main glacier with a 60 kms long stretch is the third largest glacier in the
